Sierra Oro Farm Trail Announces

HOLIDAYS ON THE FARM TRAIL local shopping weekend Dec. 15-16

For the first time ever, the Sierra Oro Farm Trail is hosting a FREE event the weekend of Dec. 15-16, 2012 titled “Holidays on the Farm Trail.”

Select farms will be open and offering exclusive holiday specials and discounts for shoppers searching for their favorite local products and gifts.

“This is a great chance for people to support our local family farms, just in time for the holidays,” said Nicole Johansson, event organizer. “It also allows some of our farmers who’s products aren’t yet in season during Passport Weekend in October – such as the Mandarin farms and Mountain View Christmas Tree Farm – to showcase their products during their high season.”

Participating farms will be open 11a.m.-5p.m. both days offering holiday specials, volume discounts and a little extra holiday cheer – Sierra Oro Farm Trail style.

For a list of participating farms, special offers and updated information on this exclusive shopping event, visit www.sierraoro.org. For questions call 530-891-5556 or email nicole@lodestarfarms.com.
